As a Community Ambassador of Lupus LA, you will play a crucial role in amplifying our efforts and making a lasting impact in the lives of lupus patients and their families.

What is Lupus LA’s Community Ambassador Program?

Lupus LA’s Community Ambassador Program is designed to empower dedicated volunteers who are committed to spreading awareness about lupus, educating others about the challenges faced by those living with the disease, and supporting our ongoing initiatives. Community Ambassadors act as representatives of Lupus LA in their communities, using their voices to promote our mission and drive positive change. As a Community Ambassador, you’ll receive exclusive updates, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved in our mission to support lupus patients and their families.

How do our Community Ambassadors make a difference?

Our Community Ambassadors are vital to the success of our mission. As a Community Ambassador, you will:

• Raise Awareness: Share information about lupus, our events, and campaigns with your network through social media, community events, and personal connections.
• Advocate: Work alongside Lupus LA to advocate for better awareness, research funding, and policies that benefit the lupus community.
• Support: Help organize and participate in local events, fundraising initiatives, and support groups to create a stronger and more informed lupus community.
• Educate: Provide valuable resources and information online to those affected by lupus, helping to increase understanding and compassion within your community.

Who should join?

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of lupus patients? Whether you are a lupus patient, a caregiver, or simply someone who wants to make a positive impact, we welcome you to join our Community Ambassador Program. We are looking for passionate individuals who:

• Are committed to supporting the lupus community with us.
• Are active on social media or within their local communities.
• Are motivated to make a difference and drive change in support of Lupus LA.
• Have personal experience with lupus or are close to someone who does – though this is not a requirement!
