When Lupus LA Founder Daniel J. Wallace, MD, diagnosed Michelle and Alan Kaye’s daughter Gillian with lupus in 2005, they committed themselves to doing all that they could to find a cure. Their first step was to join Lupus LA, where they both now serve on the Executive Board.

Alan brings leadership experience to the Board. His company, Alan Kaye Insurance Agency, Inc., has consulted with families, business owners, and individuals for over 30 years. He has served on numerous boards, including the Cedars-Sinai Board of Governors, the Beverly Hills Rotary Club, and the Maple Counseling Center. Michelle, in turn, has held leadership positions at Cedars-Sinai United Hostesses Charities, Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills, and the Beverly Hills Education Foundation.
