Dr. Brittany Panico

Dr. Brittany Panico, DO, is an ABIM board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine and adult Rheumatology who currently serves as the Chief of Rheumatology at Summit Rheumatology. A Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, she earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Panico is a dedicated advocate for Systemic Lupus and Sjogren’s, bringing extensive clinical expertise in treating complex autoimmune and auto-inflammatory conditions. Beyond her clinical leadership, she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona Phoenix and is a 2024-2026 Op-Med Doximity Fellow. Dr. Panico is a passionate proponent of shared decision-making and preventative rheumatology, frequently utilizing social media and her published work – including two Amazon best-selling books – to educate patients on navigating the healthcare system and using diet and lifestyle changes to prevent joint and organ damage.
