Dr. Mizutani currently serves as the Chairman of the Department of Rheumatology for OPTUM Medical Group Region 6.  Dr. Mizutani served as the Lead Principal Investigator for HealthCare Partners-California Clinical Research. Dr. Mizutani has more than 10 years of clinical research trial experience and has been serving as a principal investigator for more than 60 trials in Rheumatic related diseases. Dr. Mizutani received his MD from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA with residency at USC Medical Center and rheumatology fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.  In addition, he serves as the Chair of the California Advocacy Committee and a member of the National Advocacy Committee for the Arthritis Foundation.
