Dr. Vaneet Sandhu is the Director of the Lupus Center and the Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program at Loma Linda University Health (LLUH), CA. Dr. Sandhu is also the Director of Rheumatology Clinical Operations at Riverside University Health System, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at LLUH as well as the University of California, Riverside. A board-certified Rheumatologist, Dr. Sandhu is also affiliated with the Social Action Community Health System and the Loma Linda Veterans Health System in San Bernardino and Loma Linda, respectively. She received her medical degree in 2008 from Dayanand Medical College and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Loma Linda University Health. Dr. Sandhu completed her Rheumatology fellowship training at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center under Dr. Daniel Wallace’s mentorship. Her research interests include lupus and healthcare disparities. She has published numerous peer-reviewed papers, reviews, and book chapters and serves as a Reviewer for several scientific journals. She is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, chapter leader for the Association of Women in Rheumatology, member of the Rheumatology Research Foundation 2022 Portfolio Review Panel, and also serves on several task forces and committees for the American College of Rheumatology.
